Made-to-Order Tweed or Silk Jacket
Custom Tweed or Silk Jacket
Designed and made for you.
The process covers design, consulting, fabric sourcing, tailoring, and related studio work. Fees start from a minimum of $1,000 and rise with cloth, construction, and the complexity of the piece.
We source quality fabric for each commission. The lining is silk unless you specify otherwise.
Shipping, handling, customs, tariffs, and other destination charges are not included in the starting figure. They are added at the final stage before the jacket is released.
How payment works
The consulting video call is charged at the time of the meeting.
A $500 down payment (50%) is required to begin and order fabric.
Payment for materials and pre-production is due at the beginning stage, before cutting.
The remaining balance is due before shipping.
Shipping, handling, customs, tariffs, and similar costs are invoiced at the end.
Nothing is cut until the opening payments and your measurements are received.
Measurements
You send the measurements we will use. In the consulting call we will guide you, as far as a video meeting allows, so you can measure as accurately as possible. Please follow those instructions carefully and send complete, precise figures.
The jacket is made from the measurements and notes you provide. Maison Beille is not responsible for the fit or outcome of the finished garment if those measurements or instructions are incomplete, inaccurate, or different from the body when the jacket arrives. We cannot accept returns on made-to-order work except where the piece is damaged in transit or does not match the specification we confirmed in writing.
We strive for excellence at every step — design, cloth, and making — and we will be clear with you before production starts.
To begin, book the consulting call. We will confirm fabric, design, timing, and the payment schedule before work proceeds.
Disclaimers
Starting price. $1,000 is a minimum for combined design, consulting, fabric sourcing, tailoring, and related fees. It is not a fixed package price. The final studio total is quoted after consulting.
Fabric & lining. We source quality fabric for each commission. The lining is silk unless the client specifies a different lining.
Extra costs. Shipping, handling, customs, tariffs, taxes, and other destination or carrier charges are extra and added at the final stage. Maison Beille does not control customs authorities or carrier delays.
Payments. The consulting video call is charged on the spot. A down payment plus materials and pre-production costs are due at the start. Work does not begin until those amounts are paid. Payments for made-to-order work are not refundable once materials are purchased or production has started, except where required by law.
Your measurements. The garment is made from the measurements you submit. You are responsible for sending accurate, complete measurements. Maison Beille is not responsible for fit issues that come from measurements or information you provided.
No standard returns. Because each jacket is made to order, it cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind, size preference, or a different cloth/style after production has begun.
Confirmation. Fabric, design, price range, timeline, and payment stages are only confirmed in writing after the consulting call. The website description does not itself create a finished-price contract.
